I looked on ebay.co.uk and I found couple of machines for sale - not shipping to US, they didn’t show on our “regular” eBay.com . I contacted one of the sellers and convinced him to change the listing, and I got my 420/1 shipped to Texas, no import duties.

So many amazing games. However the games who are seared in my memory are Sword of Sodan and Dragon’s Lair. Far from being the best games, those were the ones on display at the local computer store, and the visuals were jaw dropping for a kid coming from a 8 bit system

The card was based on the Yamaha YM3812 chip, the same chip that would later power the AdLib we all know. Only a handful of Music Box prototypes are believed to exist. This image comes from early promotional brochures for the Olivetti PC1.
Michele C (@cencio1976.bsky.social) reply parent
In 1986, Olivetti approached the then-unknown AdLib with a request to develop a sound card—called the Music Box—for their upcoming PC1 computer. However, the deal fell through. Looks like Olivetti was seeking an exclusive agreement, while AdLib preferred to release the Music Box to a broader market.

I ran an experiment, simultaneously posting articles on Bluesky and X, and then testing to see how many people actually clicked and read them. The numbers on Bluesky are higher, both because the X algorithm downranks journalism, and because Bluesky attracts readers, not just shitposters.
