I've been to several shops in the area where I grew up (in between Hickory & Lenoir) over the past couple of years, but never been anywhere else in NC in over 30 years.
Nice! If you're ever in Pittsburgh, I can take you to one of the best used shops I've ever been in. They have a huge amount of kinds of physical media. I love picking up stuff. As long as it's playable, I don't care if the jacket and such aren't in the best shape.

Thankfully, as far as the sports goes, the second half was better than the first. The home team didn't overcome the deficit they'd allowed in the first half, but an effort nonetheless.
The band did great. I can't want to watch them improve their show. Proud of my kid. The opposing team's band needs to drop the bass player or put the amp on the field instead of playing it over the PA. Overpowering the band and the timing is off. Yay physics.

Ok. Consider me impressed. Sure, they've had music & basic marching rehearsals all summer long, but for only 1.5 wks of "band camp", they sounded fantastic. I am sure the marching part was pretty good, but we were almost at field level. Gonna be fun to watch this improve over the year.
