The Scarlet is downright spectacular for any era -- pending on your view of the missed lyrics. Based on the tapes, it sounds like Jerry had no idea what he should be singing. But I've also heard Jerry was holding his hand to his ear and encouraging the audience to sing.

We lost a close family friend on 9/11 who was like a favorite uncle. I still miss him. That day should never be forgotten. But the biggest “never forget” should be how we let bloodlust from 9/11 justify the Iraq War & all the innocent lives destroyed from it. It’s an appropriate lesson right now.

It’s not for lack of wanting to go. Most acts we would make an effort to go see who have played there have done it on very inconvenient dates. And it kind of requires an overnight trip due to the shuttle/lack of parking/etc.
Default is probably the shuttle back and forth to downtown Ft Collins and stay in a hotel.

Everyone is so high on the Broncos, and I don't get it. The 2024 Broncos had two victories vs. teams with a winning record: Week 3 vs Tampa before the Bucs got their shit together & week 17 vs the KC B-Team. Then they got blown out by the Bills in the playoffs. Fade the Broncos all year long.
Sucks losing to Rodgers, but I feel like the Jets looked like a professional football team today. And for a Jets fan, that's a big victory.
In the spring, we killed all the weeds and replanted grass seed that is designed for Colorado. I fertilize. I watered. I weed & needed in hopes of keeping the weeds at bay. After a summer of frustration, our entire yard is nothing but charred grass and thriving weeds.
The last two I made, I wrapped and they came out great. I wanted to try a straight smoke with no wrap and no spritz. Probably my last time doing it that way. Too much time.
I'm thinking of just killing everything and throwing rock down.
Well, only took 18 hours and 43 minutes. Last time I go with no wrap. Also had to crank the temp up to 250 and then 265 the last few hours.
Hey #Denver folk - The house we bought had such yard negligence that it's like 90% weeds. Even after I cleared everything out in the Spring, weed & feeded the shit out of it, and re-seeded with seed designed for Denver, I'm left with a yard of weeds. Anyone know a good pro/service?
