The Scarlet is downright spectacular for any era -- pending on your view of the missed lyrics. Based on the tapes, it sounds like Jerry had no idea what he should be singing. But I've also heard Jerry was holding his hand to his ear and encouraging the audience to sing.
Unbroken Chain Scarlet was such a gift. Vibe was electric as I recall. Lately, I’ve been trying my damnedest to remember the 40 or so GD shows I was lucky to attend. Made it to The Pyramid in Memphis that tour too. Way more erratic than Charlotte.
I've had my list set for a while (35 shows), but to this day I am tripped up on Giants 92/93/94. I went each year, but didnt do both shows each year. And I can't figure it out. So I probably have 36, but I just leave it off. The summer stadium shows will be the ones that confound you. Godspeed
