Just took a quick break from work to send another email my MP - John-Paul Danko - telling him that Canada must champion sanctions against Israel and a war-crime tribunal. I encourage everyone to look up their MP's email address or phone number and do the same. This has gone on way too long.

On this day in 1961, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats defeated the Buffalo Bills 38-21 in an exhibition game. The Tiger-Cats are the only Canadian team to ever defeat a current NFL team. The game was played in Hamilton and was the last time a CFL team played an NFL/AFL team.

I agree. While, consodering the alternatives, I still think Canada chose right. BUT this also shows how engaged we need to be with our MPs to make our opinions loudly heard. The US has proven an unreliable partner - let's use this opportunity to find better ones.
This could be what's required in the very near future. At some point, people will have to wake up and realize (...well, a particular segment), that much of the issues we see in our downtown's have much more to do with the halving of corporate tax & stagnated wages, than a particular prime minister.

Here's something that bugs me. I'm watching @thenationalnews.com on CBC - they continually say Gen "Zee" vs. Gen "Zed". I get the American influence on terms like this, but this is an easy one to sub in/impose the Queen's/King's English. It even sounds better.
The cumulative differential across 4 #CFL games this weekend was 23 points. That includes the 31-17 Argos win over the Bombers. The other 3 games had a total differential of 9 points. That's pretty insane. Hard to not love this league.
