The streaming services pay American studios to dub over foreign movies and TV shows to English (and a few other languages). Foreign movies put money into the pockets of American artists.

When we looked at the facility to begin with, we were told the new owners were investing millions in renovations. While we were touring, they were pulling up old carpet and painting hallways. People visited in the lobby, and a few greeted visitors sitting out front under the portico.
This is a true story. We moved my mother there last year; we moved her out as they began to slash services. Horrible people.
