I agree with you for the most part, but there is one other thing that Bolton cares about. He cares about any opportunity to bomb the crap out of foreign countries and their civilian populations in the name of āmurica.
Integrity matters. Had Bolton testified in the first impeachment (instead of waiting for his book), we'd likely be in a different place. I am strongly against anyone using the FBI or DOJ for political retribution. But I'll shed no tears for Johny B getting harassed by the monster machine he enabled.
I donāt see him as high integrity. Refused to testify in the first #impeachment attempt in order to benefit his book release. That was wrong.

I know that impeachment seems unlikely at this time, but if the Dems asked for it every week, that in itself would break through, and they could legitimately be a more viable opposition party going into both 2025 state legislative elections and, hopefully if we get there, 2026 midterms.
