We took our two teenage daughters to DC in June, we stayed in a cute little Airbnb right in downtown DC. We walked everywhere, we felt safe everywhere. I think we maybe saw two homeless people. And that was only because I needed a Krispy Kreme fix. It’s an absolute beautiful city.

I am a senior and visited in March. Went there alone and traveled on the Metro, then walked to L’Enfant Plaza. Felt very safe and so many friendly people offered help regarding the Metro and directions around town.
