Obviously, I am being intentionally vague. Endwalker is as good as base Shadowbringers (and elevates Shadowbringers in a tier above it by proxy) and it should be experienced in full.
And lastly, the zoom in on her face at the end. Covered in muck and darkness. Injured beyond repair. But her eyes burn with that ice blue intensity, as Answers comes to its close with the final verse, "In the same fleeting moment thou must live, die, and know."
The other is the confrontation with the group of people. As they give in to their terror and begin to offer their lives to Zodiark, she draws her blade, gives her love to the world, and ends her reply with, "No longer shall man have wings to bear him to paradise. Henceforth, he shall walk."
Three moments really strike me. One is the final moment between our two closest friends, as one explains and then turns away, knowing he's heading to his death. The other can only watch, and resolve himself. The first step of his millennia long journey of pain and isolation.
I think one of my all-time favorite moments in FFXIV is the quest 'Thou Must Live, Die, and Know'. Its one of the most important cutscenes in FFXIV. Without spoilers, it includes and re-contextualizes Answers as the song of an Apocalypse, and shows us the character of one of XIV's best characters.

These are alot of extra steps, yes, but Chrome and Chrome based browsers (incl. Brave and Opera) don't give you alot of these tools. They just constantly phone home and give your data away, even on incognito mode.
It is NOT intuitive! You will HAVE to do your research on what various things do. It might not be a bad idea to look into a 'hardening' guide, as well. These typically help in making Firefox security focused and protects your browsing more than they want.
Anyone using Firefox, I do suggest familiarizing yourself abit with the About:config page. Just type it into the address bar. Leads to ALOT of options for Firefox's back-end functionality. Including things like phoning home, various connections, Pocket, and other bs options.
I love Firefox, but decisions like this push me to consider moving to one of its forks.
My fear is what happens AFTER. JD Vance is a competent, willing, and eager puppet.

Really love Yoshi-P and his attitude towards the modding scene of XIV. It really just boils down to: 1. Don't talk about it 2. Don't post pictures with illicit stuff 3. Don't use them to change other player's experiences 4. No gameplay advantages This is incredibly fair I don't mod and like this

I so badly wanted to stream during my medical leave, but the medical thing involved removing something from my head, making headphones impossible to wear without severe pain.
I like how this series has been so well scripted. Its clearly how the Reich's leadership thinks, but it also points out how Newsom is almost just as bad as they are.
This is strictly a profit thing. Why offer a cheaper cure when the more expensive treatment makes more money? I hate this world sometimes.

I do give VIII alot of credit for its music. I know alot of people consider (himself included) IX to be Uematsu's best work, but VIII's music was damn good, and fitting without leaning into techno and industrial (Soken wouldn't be able to resist). The Oath is one of my top 10 Final Fantasy tracks.

I think my dislike of VIII was more my teenage angst of seeing Final Fantasy become more futuristic (ironic seeing my love of XIII). I was also not a fan of Squall and as a teen couldn't fully grasp some of the story writing around him. Never really enjoyed him and Rinoa as a couple either.
To add to my defending the XIII trilogy, Caius (villain of XIII-2) is probably Final Fantasy's second best villain; only bested by XIV's Emet-Selch.
I think we all have a Final Fantasy we defend from the community and one we irrationally dislike. For me, I defend the XIII trilogy. Its really not as bad as people think, and I'm glad people are coming around to it. My irrational dislike has always been VIII. Getting over it, but still...
It was a story about life, death, and what it means for us to be remembered. There were elements that Endwalker had tread already, but overall it was fantastic. And the final scene, the terminals being activated, and the song, "Promise of Tomorrow" playing was just so beautiful.
After letting 7.3 rest in my mind abit, I do have to say this: Dawntrail is not perfect by any means. But the Alexandria story, especially in the patch content, was beautiful and tragic. I enjoyed nearly all of it (though still wish Krile and Erenville got more time in Living Memory).

Merlin opted to sleep with me, which is not unusual for the cat. But what was weird is he wanted under the covers. Like, he fought my blanket until I lifted it for him, then he scurried in, cuddled up beside me, and got comfy while purring. I love my little furball, weirdness and all.
I have a coworker who practically lives at the skating rink across the road from work. She's weak af from the waist up, but the day she kicks someone, they'll evaporate from how strong her legs are.

Irisviel is... a thing. Sadly, her gimmick is nothing special. She applies an AOE guts to her party and heals. That's... about it. Sadly, Asclepius does the job better and has more utility to the party. Just use him. He's free and a 3 star.
Seig is the prize among these three. AOE casters are rare, not to mention ones who can loop. His damage isn't top tier, and he does struggle when compared to SSR Casters and even Alter Egos. But if you lack those, Seig will be a welcome addition to your Chaldea.
Further details: Chloe is essentially single target arts EMIYA without his numerous buffs. She's decent for what she can do, but even with Castoria she needs help looping. If this was 2 years ago, I'd emphatically recommend.
The new Pilgrimage Festival is out on #FGO My recommendations? If you need a good ST archer, get Chloe, but she's falling off and a fair bit of 3 star archers are good, too. Seig is a pretty solid aoe caster. They are rare, so I'd recommend him. Only get Irisviel if you want her. She's... bad.
Woke up after a 'nap' of 10 hours. Groggy and not sure what time it was. Heard birds chirping, think I slept for 14+ hours. Cat is draped across me on his back like he belongs there.
Trying to get motivated to finish my carnosaur. Its like the closer I'm getting to finishing it the less I want to paint it.
Another addition for fast leveling with low effort: Grand Companies. Once you can do provisions deliveries, they'll begin asking for crafted and gathering items. The ones with stars will often get 1.5-2 levels in ONE turn in. Its insane.
And yes, she gets excited spending time with Emet, too. Their break up was more of a difference of life goals thing than falling out of love. You know, Emet wanted to summon a being of unimaginable darkness, and Yui disagreed. Sunday morning breakfast stuff.
Honestly, it feels like the era of corpos is coming to an end. With Niji and Vshojo's BS and so many other small groups falling apart, it feels like its time. Even Hololive seems to have cracks forming (especially on the EN side).
At this point, killing Hoary would kind of be dumb. Mean no disrespect, but he's so plot irrelevant that it wouldn't have impact on most players. That and they're scared to kill anyone nowadays...
Yui has 2 husbands (G'raha and Erenville), 1 wife (Cirina), 1 fiance (Sphene), and 1 ex (Emet). She loves all of them, and gets very excited about spending time with them. Those 1-on-1 scenes mean alot to her.
I'd like to remind everyone that Gavin Newsom is definitely preferable to the Racist Sunrise, but he's a centrist who platformed some of the worst of humanity on his podcast. He's just as bad as some of the Reich in congress. He's after popularity, not doing a good job.

Why did I install Nikke? I guess cause abunch of people I know plays it. Still lost. The game makes zero sense to me with the 374587348 menus. But I think I have a good group of Nikkes from logging on off and on. So I'll just muddle through.

By 60, geared in either scrip gear or the 60 crafted gear, you know the general loop for DOH/L. Go out there and conquer, my friends.
Around 55, you'll want to look into scrips. Purple scrips are the general purpose scrip and you can start getting them. Crafting collectables are a good source of xp, too, but the main purpose is to acquire scrips for gear, master books, and materia.
I will mention that custom deliveries (1/week deals) are supurb xp, gil, and scrips. Try to do the most relevant ones to your level, but even going back to old ones can net great rewards with little effort. I prefer to custom delivery for my gatherers, but its great for both!
Level your gatherers mostly by grinding until they can enter the Diadem, part of the Restoration. This is a great source of XP and can fuel your crafters. It gives you a good idea on the relationship between both sets of jobs.
Once in Ishgard, you can do the Restoration content. AVOID GRAND LEVES. Not worth unless you want the achievements for it. Your pattern for leveling will be Restoration > Custom Deliveries > Leves > Grinding.
Leveling crafters is straight-forward, but can be an investment of time. Initially, just do your job quests and try to fill out the crafting log. Once you hit 30 (I think) start the Ixal beast tribe quests. Begin doing levequests, too. Leves are your main xp and gil source.
That being said, if you see a crafter in-game and feel you need advice, ask. Most people in FFXIV would love to help. I'm also someone who'd go out of my way to help out someone asking for further advice. There is a crafting mentor role for a reason (I need to get that back...)
Avoid The Balance discord server for advice. Sounds weird, but almost all experiences I've had on there have been negative. Their suggested melds are always out of date, and its just not a great resource. I go to Icy Veins (ADBLOCKER) for melds, if I want to try to penta.
Do not be afraid to use tools like Teamcraft and Raphael to find macros. Its cool to know how to craft by hand, but if you are making a full set of armor and it needs 25x cloth... just macro that.
Focus on Culinarian. Food is big for both you and end game raiders. Even using outdated food during your craft can get you a leg up. I crafted my full set of new armors on Roneek Steak, 7.0's best food for crafting, and it was easy peasy.
The X.3 patches (which we're on now) often have the best items for DoH/L until the next expac. Relics are part of Cosmic Exploration, and you have time to get those up and running. Do not worry about perfect melds. Its nice to have, but if your stats are high enough to craft, chances are you can
Piece of advice for FFXIV for anyone looking to get into crafting/gathering: be an omnicrafter. Its extremely expensive to buy pre-built components off of the markets. I'd also recommend getting miner and botanist leveled as well. Become self-sufficient.

Odds are going to be taking time off after the surgery. Will probably try to stream, assuming the pain isn't too much. I'm still trying to get geared up for FFXIV 7.3 MSQ, seeing as I kind of stopped playing after going through 7.2's story. So maybe we can do some streams as I go through that?
