I think the BBC is trying to appeasement those it sees as a threat to its existence. Those don't include Labour, The Greens or LibDems.

I think it simply comes down to the fact that the BBC will slather praise on anyone or anything that threatens the existence of the BBC. They did it with the Tories, they don't do it with Labour. They do it with Reform, they won't do it with the Greens or LibDems.

Saw it Friday. The first hour is impossibly slow, and it's a 2.5 hrs movie. Good performances by the leads though. I saw Weapons a couple of weeks beforehand and I couldn't stop thinking about that. Eddington didn't stick in my head at all.
