I'm grognardy enough that I remember and preferred the overall weirdness of Otaku, but I can see why technomancers would scratch that itch. I think I just liked things better overall when the matrix was wired and there wasn't just some kind of esoteric doom counter on every matrix interaction.

But yeah the choice to censor screw is a wack choice. Shadowrun typically doesn't do a lot of profanity, ironically, but there's literally in-universe words they could have used. The adcopy also EXTREMELY reads as 90s flavored Mario tribal tattoo magazine advertisement which I mean Aesthetic Choice?
As one of the Shadowrun likers in the room, it seems absolutely BIZARRE that the default physical backer level doesn't come with PDFs and that it's an upsell. I've backed a couple of RPGs but that just feels VERY cursed. Which I guess goes in line with SR as a game system in general, given history.

Bought it and I agree! The outfits in there are really nice! The color palettes used on each page are all super complementary to one another and it's just fun to see fantasy characters wearing atypical outfits
Anyways I hope that both Sundered Skies and 50 Fathoms get a full update (rather than just a conversion sheet) to the current Deluxe Edition of Savage Worlds because I love both of those settings. I think Wiggy's retired now though so Skies is probably a harder sell.
