Yeah bones is a bit of a beast to prime. The number of them I've repainted because the paint came off. Gotta mix paint with glue and hope it's textured enough. And then it's luck
Nolzur's makes incredible minis. I've gotten minis from ALL KINDS of companies and individuals and I still regularly come back to Nolzur's, especially when the mini I want is one with official art. The details are all so sharp and the castings are pretty clean, relatively little flashing

I have to confess something I just realized about myself. I do sentences that are kinda run-ons a lot but with a comma where a period and new sentence should probably be, and I just realized it's because I hate periods in the middle of posts/texts because (quoting my brain here) they feel too formal
This kind of post usually got me roasted by one side and scolded by the other but yeah I don't take any of it back. It's my truth. It's from my perspective and my set of challenges and privileges. Just sharing it because I've been thinking about it again.
Don't know why this turned into what it turned into but I mean every word and it's borne of lots of low times and lots of introspection
I WANT to let my anger at unfairness and cruelty drive me to make change, even in small ways. Even just giving one person one doubt. I'm not going to police anyone or make value judgements here. This is all my aspirations and goals. This is who I'm trying to be and what I'm trying to do. Anyway yeah

I was doing those things for the same reasons, just different fears, different hatreds, different targets. If I changed a mind or two (I hope I did), I really hope I didn't hurt more than I helped. I fear I did. I had assumed the goal was to change minds but that's not everyone's goal. That's valid!
I hate bullies. I had bullies all through school. Bullies hurt people, take things, keep people down, and they do it all because they're scared. Scared of how complicated and nuanced life is. Scared because they don't understand a new thing. Whatever. Fear> anger > resentment > hatred > suffering
When I was on Twitter, one of the worst times was the moment I realized I was being a bully and accepting (and being accepted and lauded for) that behavior because my reasons were good. Minutiae aside the important thing is I was being a bully. Needlessly. Harmfully. Counterproductively. Never again
I try each day to ONCE consciously identify a time I'm about to be mean needlessly and choose not to. Maybe I'm bringing my anger about a bigger thing to a small thing that doesn't need that much smoke, or I'm about to say "obviously" when it's not obvious to everyone. I try to choose not to, 1/day
