#fantasyindiesseptember Day 22- What Type of Book Would Your MC Write? Neither are avid readers, nor particularly creative, so I don't think either would be inclined to try, or be very good at it. But Mark would probably write a memoir about the war. Ryvus would likely write a sappy romance.

These chorizo sausages i had in the Philippines. They were small and round, bright red, spicy, and were sticky sweet with some kind of glaze. So good. Never managed to find those exact ones again but if I close my eyes I can still taste them.

#fantasyindiesseptember Day 12: Free Friday or books that remind you of autumn Free Friday On fall and the harvest, two of my characters are from farms. One's from a dairy, the other from a ranch. Ryvus is a homesteader, so he grows most of his own food.

#fantasyindiesseptember day 5- Free Friday or share some of your favorite fandoms Favorite fandom? Star Trek, I guess. I've made some amazing friends attending cons. Had lovely chats with people from all walks of life, and (touch wood) never had a bad experience.
So I've been playing Claire Obscure, but I challenged myself to play it in French. Two things to be noted here. 1- My french was learned through immersion. Most of these words I've never heard before. WTF is a cible?? (Turns out it means target) 2- Parisian French is way more proper than Quebecois 😅

There are writing prompts all over the place in the writing community. Pick one and do a little ten minute exercise with it. Consider it a warm up, like when you go to the gym.

#fantasyindiesaugust day 24- Character Names and Their Meanings in WIP Mark- She changed her name when she quit the Imperial army. Her soldiers called her 'Mark' because she never misses. Ryvus- In the elven language, it refers to the youngest or the smallest of the family.

#fantasyindiesaugust Day 21: Is your MC a Morning Person? Mark is absolutely not. When required for work, she'll do it, but now that she's the boss she comes in late. Ryvus doesn't really sleep. He likes mornings and finds them peaceful.

I enjoy the flavor, and I find them spicy but easily tolerated. Great for soups and such. I save my super hots for big batches of chili, and fucking with my friends (I always warn people- I'm not cruel)

#fantasyindiesaugust day 19- Author Tips That Have Helped You Writing is like panning for gold. You don't get a big lump all at once. It requires volume, so never be afraid to write that line, test out that scene, try out dialogue. You'll find the gold parts within, then you wash away the rest.

#fantasyindiesaugust day 15: Free Friday or Favorite Comfort Movie/TV Show Comfort movie would have to be Jurassic Park. It wowed me as a kid, and watching it nowadays always brings me back there. TV is Star Trek TOS. Something about it just soothes my soul.

#fantasyindiesaugust Day 14: Does Romance Feature in Your WIP? Feature? Absolutely not. There are some background relationships with some of the characters, but never between each other. I really wanted to have deep and meaningful relationships without having those relationships be romantic.
Ugh. I just did the upgrade myself. Nothing but problems with the switch. Ended up having to wipe my hard drive and reformat it just to get it to work. And I hate everything about 11 😭
