Really? Dude had it coming for real. Thematically relevant for many reasons, including the fact that Cassian becomes a true Rebel for the cause, and not for the fortune.
I would have guessed that. It's slow in the beginning and it isn't until the heist that it really gets rolling ( ep 5?) What you guys both raise is accurate: it's Star Wars with less joy. For me, it is right for the moment and was resonant in so many ways plus entertaining and well executed. YMMV
