I drove by a day earlier and noted that it was filled with camas in bloom, but the sky was grey. When there was blue sky the next day, I decided we needed to go back.
My spouse has partial heterochromia (part of their eye has an amber/brown color while the rest of that eye and the other is blue). Just because thatβs a fun factoid and bit of info.
There's only one person who's allowed to enter someone's home without a warrant, and that is Santa.

Yeah, Iβm thrilled to see so many native wildflowers blooming in the area. Iβve noticed more and more camas the past few years. Itβs quickly become a favorite flower of mine.

I donβt know these people. But the fact that I was able to put another face to autism was something that this little girl picked up on and dad was appreciative of. Iβve no clue if the young girl is autistic or not, BTW.
The group said goodbye and started walking away. The little girl asked her grownup, βDo I have autism as well?β The grownup told her that they didnβt know, but maybe. Then, the grownup turned around to say good, thank you, and I appreciate running into you.
The grownup asked me if I knew what the event was, and I explained as above. The little girlβs eyes lit up and she explained βMy brother has autism!β I told her that I did as well.
As Blu and I were heading towards the car, a young girl asked me if she could pet Blu. After checking in with her grownup, Blu sat and got some pets. The brother enjoyed Blu from behind their grownupβs legs.

Sad little human who likely felt like they peaked in middle school when they were the feared bully. Just trying to recreate that sense of worth, but still failing miserably and showing what a horrid human he is.
