Yes, the camas are really blooming all over near me. Itβs just beautiful fields of purple.
Stunning husky! Theyβre so much fun!
He sure is. Itβs funny though, heβs not at all talkative. But he has the most insistent and sassy foot stomp around π
What a gorgeous dog!π₯°
Thank you. Blu is gorgeous, very smart, and pretty sassy. I got lucky that he was willing to allow me this photo.
Beautiful!

That could be a cover of a magazine. Perfect framing; beautiful photo.
Awe, thanks so much. Iβm really surprised at how much attention this photo is getting.

I got my very first dog when I was 30-ish and he was a gorgeous Siberian Husky with blue eyes like your doggie's. They are the sweetest, always smiling and most devoted dogs. Thank you for sharing Blu among the Camasβ£οΈ
Blu came with my marriage to their owner. I am βother motherβ and have definitely been accepted into his pack. Blu actually has heterochromia and his other eye is brown.
My Beloved Mother Dearest had one blue eye and one brown. Iβve never heard of the medical term until now, thanx!
My spouse has partial heterochromia (part of their eye has an amber/brown color while the rest of that eye and the other is blue). Just because thatβs a fun factoid and bit of info.
Sounds to me like blu also found the perfect human. Look at that smile!
Yeah, we had a fun day. Heβs great company and loves to be outdoors.
Heβs so handsome!
He very much is, and he is aware. He uses his good looks to get bits of cheese and pup cups π
Beautiful dog in a field of beautiful wild flowers!
Awe, Iβll let Blu know you called him beautiful. He knows it already, but it wonβt hurt his ego π.

Lovely meadow. Great looking husky!
I drove by a day earlier and noted that it was filled with camas in bloom, but the sky was grey. When there was blue sky the next day, I decided we needed to go back.
I'm glad you did. βΊοΈ
Very good chance those Camas have been growing there for a very long time. Natives have been using the Camas tubers for food for thousands of years, and harvested/propagated them responsibly so they were there every year.
Yeah, Iβm thrilled to see so many native wildflowers blooming in the area. Iβve noticed more and more camas the past few years. Itβs quickly become a favorite flower of mine.
It's really pretty, and I love the history of it.
