I got my very first dog when I was 30-ish and he was a gorgeous Siberian Husky with blue eyes like your doggie's. They are the sweetest, always smiling and most devoted dogs. Thank you for sharing Blu among the Camas❣️

Blu came with my marriage to their owner. I am “other mother” and have definitely been accepted into his pack. Blu actually has heterochromia and his other eye is brown.

My spouse has partial heterochromia (part of their eye has an amber/brown color while the rest of that eye and the other is blue). Just because that’s a fun factoid and bit of info.

I drove by a day earlier and noted that it was filled with camas in bloom, but the sky was grey. When there was blue sky the next day, I decided we needed to go back.

Very good chance those Camas have been growing there for a very long time. Natives have been using the Camas tubers for food for thousands of years, and harvested/propagated them responsibly so they were there every year.

Yeah, I’m thrilled to see so many native wildflowers blooming in the area. I’ve noticed more and more camas the past few years. It’s quickly become a favorite flower of mine.
