I guess it's diplomacy but I don't like to see Carney buttering up Trump. I want to see major projects go ahead but I also want to see genuine consultation. And I want him to drop that F-35 contract and give that Golden Dome idea the drop kick. He's still got to earn my support.

Well. Depends. But I do like to see to it that the carts that are nearby are at least organized in a safe spot. Can't abide unnecessary injury to people or vehicles. And if there is a risk of cart theft, then I will return what carts I have time for. Even in the rain. Trying to keep costs low.

The children were forced onto airplanes and flown far away to residential schools. Mothers were crying and running down the runway after their children. What a tragic circumstance. Those were the times. My father could do nothing but watch. And he was deeply affected for the rest of his life. 😢
Thinking of the painting "The Scream". Some sixty- five years ago my father was doing some work at an airfield near a remote First Nations community in BC. He had the great misfortune to see, firsthand, children in the village being torn away from their parents by the RCMP and priests.

Now an overgrown small downtown lot. But not long ago, there was a beautiful, vibrant garden here maintained by local volunteers. The founder sadly passed away and, as I remember, interest waned. There are only a few flowers left scattered in the grass. One of them is this lovely yellow tulip. 💛
