I just felt that The Mandalorian became a side story in his own show in an attempt to create a connection between other shows, and as a stepping stone to more characters and shows that inevitably didn't get off the drawing board.
Yeah. Andor, Clone wars and rebels, were i think the only episodic productions that were consistent in their quality. Mando tailed off badly in the 3rd season, doing what Disney does best in trying to spin off with new characters that we'll never see again 🤷
The secret to anything that's deemed as family entertainment is making sure that the adults as well as children are equally entertained. It's why, in the past, Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, etc, were so popular and culturally significant 🤷
My issue with Disney is that there is basically zero direction, and they have no idea who their audience are and what they want and are constantly fighting to make Star Wars a Disney creation rather than a Lucas one, and thats a legacy they'll never escape from.
Yeah, every time I log on, i get that feeling of Deja Vu when I see the same take from the local opinion police thats usually the opposite of what they posted a week prior, e.g its ok to be critical, it's not ok to be critical as if we're not all individuals but some hive mind 🙄
