I do hope that the people claiming to be activists for them mature in their activism to people helpful and not harmful. People across the globe, not just in the U.S. are suffering as result of the way they decided to advocate. It is going to take decades for this country to recover.
I have no animus towards Palestinians in Gaza nor did I express any. Those are the people suffering. I do have animus towards people who claimed to be their activists and made non-strategic decisions that have put me and mine in harms way, while also making life for the Palestinians much worse.
During the campaign, my mother and I had some arguments about my work in canvassing and activism. In hindsight, I more clearly understand the wisdom of what she was saying.
