Easiest relatively speaking. Unlike many on here, I’m not that concerned by the lack of goals. We’ve played pretty well in 3 of our 4 games and confidence should be high. If we don’t beat these though, after the start they’ve had, it does beg the question: who are we going to beat?
Disagree with this. Get beat today and it’s a massive confidence knock and will transmit to the players and the fans that we’re not good enough for this league. This is one of the easiest game we’re gonna get.

I agree completely so we are working with what we’ve got. Not bringing in more attacking threat will prob result in relegation. I imagine Farke didn’t put him on because the crowd were singing his name. That said, he’s not been great this season or last, no end product.
I’m not sure what your point is. We’re playing the way we are because we have nothing up front because we couldn’t get anyone in Jan. we can have a go at teams at home.

Early goal for them and given the week we’ve had, heads will go down and crowd will get frustrated. I always think of Farke as a ‘home coach’. Seems to have a very clear idea of what he wants to achieve at EL, away he’s always caught between two stools. At home, we’ve a chance at least.

I don’t follow this line of argument. He’s clearly not our first choice but we’ve exhausted other options (or they’ve turned us down). Farke has consistently targeted wingers who can also play as 10s, Hamer not in that category. I’d take him now but not necessarily at the start of the window.

Bottom line is we need to try to take points at home whoever we’re playing. I agree about Aaronson leading the press which should at least put them on the back foot at times.
I have a strong feeling this is what Farke will do. He has a lot more faith in Aaronson than the fans (and me!) Bench Piroe and bring him on at 70 if we’re still in the game. It’s the least worst option.
Totally agree with you here, basically nullifies our attacking threat in a home game when we should be taking the initiative. No one will agree but I’d play Aaronson at 10, no Gruev. At least he’ll show for the ball unlike Piroe.
You’re right, there’s no guarantee that a club won’t whip Hamer or El K from under our noses. The position we’re in is about the most difficult there is: big clubs have their pick, lower clubs just take what they can. We’re aspirational but without the resources to compete.

It’s not a deliberate strategy. Better players will hold out for offers from the richer clubs (yesterday being a prime example). If those offers don’t come, then they’ll look at clubs like us but not until very late in the window. Prob true we could go for Champ players but we’re trying to upgrade.

He can play as a 10 or a winger, spot on for us. You may not like it but Brighton are an established PL team, we’re not. Presumably you were happy with the Spurs cast off who was probably our best player last year. I’m not the lad’s agent though, if you want to annoyed about it, that’s up to you.
They do want him, they’re not up for selling but they have a history of bringing players on slowly (see Ben White). He’s prob slightly outside their first team and the reality is they’re a lot better than we are.
