I know it can feel uncomfortable to get in their faces, but there are too many signs that we are quickly heading to a really dark place. Massive public outcry & mobilization is our only chance, and I'm afraid we don't have much more time. "There comes a time when silence is betrayal." MLK Jr.

If you haven't watched his press conference, you should. The mayor of the 3rd largest city in the US just announced that he is preparing his police & other government agencies to fend off a federal invasion. It's time to sound the alarms. Talk to friends & family. Let's help shake the apathy away.

This is a good article, but these few paragraphs are key. Do you think the admin would take all of these extrajudicial steps, consolidating power etc if they planned on holding free & fair elections? Would they stand for Dems taking these actions? Then that's the answer to the previous question.

The removal of Trump placates enough low information voters into thinking the Republicans have "found reason". I think DT is actually a liability to the oligarch's overall goal, he is an imperfect tool they are using & if they can successfully remove him from the equation, it would benefit them.

The recruiting push for ICE is damning. The lack of oversight, vetting & training will prove to be an absolute disaster for American democracy. We are hiring ignorant, racist & desperate people to staff the highest funded federal law-enforcement agency. This will prove to be Trump's personal army.

Bill Clinton sold the soul of the Democratic Party for political expediency. That will forever be my stance.

Look further left than Trump lovers. MUCH further left. I'm with the Democrats who want single payer health insurance, gun control, LGBTQ equality, an end to persecuting Migrants and I'm tired of the DNC establishment telling us what is and isn't possible.

The MSM has completely failed to hold Trump accountable. They are more concerned with access to his admin than they are reporting any semblance of truth. At some point though, we need to hold the public accountable too. There's plenty of proof Trump is a despicable man, & MAGA ignores it.

We should get the most progressive and liberal Dems to apply and take it down from the inside

future precedent when the future isn't guaranteed! You let him get away with that way too easily.

@timmiller.bsky.social finally listened to you and Chuck Todd. That man is infuriating when talking about the "precedent" that mid decade gerrymandering will set for our "future democracy" What the hell is he talking about? What future democracy?? The GOP is trying to end it!! We can't worry about

worried about what's considered a crime today. I'm worried about how these private companies will become subservient to the rising authoritarian powers in the US & MO. Once they complete their takeover, we have already installed their surveillance state infrastructure for them. Good work guys.

We are in the middle of a fascist takeover of our federal government, & we are voluntarily installing surveillance technology that has the ability to recognize "bad actors". When briefly asked about privacy concerns, we essentially got, "If you don't commit crime you don't have to worry". I'm not

Just listened to Steve Kraske interview the director of KCATA on Up To Date on @kcur.org. It was about the new AI driven camera system that the organization plans to pilot on their bus system. I normally love Steve, but he completely glossed over the massive privacy concern this system creates.

This is the level of rage we should all have with these worthless assholes. Seeing Midwesterners who aren't overall overly angry talk this way gives a brief glimmer of hope. Fuck Midwest nice, rage
