No, the original constitution doesn’t say that - the 2nd amendment says that - “amendment”. It was added to the constitution in the exact same way other things can and have been added to the constitution. The entire concept is to have a “living document” that adapts to changing times and growth
So hard that almost every country has managed? This is not so complicated that it can’t be done. That also wasn’t my point - the law can be as precise as it needs to be - you on the other hand, have no reason to chide strangers about your superior gun knowledge when they are just sick of dead kids
A gun isn’t a citizen or a person - it’s a weapon of war that has been regulated in almost every other civilized society. Other weapons with similar effects can be similarly regulated. This isn’t a problem that can’t be solved. It’s just a question of will and personal sacrifice.
I just don’t see the need to inject this same argument into every obvious tragedy - trying to minimize or disparage people’s outrage because you find fault in their technical understanding of a firearm - I can’t say I respect it
