This article proves why a school with a riding program is better for student-riders. Why not let students pursue their goals on campus & develop skills, compete, and receive academic support without the need for constant travel?
At Stoneleigh-Burnham School, where I work, student-riders get the best of both worlds. Unlike the travel in The Cut's "Pony Kids, Horse Moms, and the Hampton Classic," SBS students ride on campus, developing skills, competing without constant travel, and balancing riding with academics.

George, I lived in Porter Square after college. I'm also thinking of the hundreds of small businesses in the area, the restaurants, food trucks, and corner shops that will ALL be hurt by 6,700 fewer people living in the area. This will devastate the hyper-local economy. What a stupid move.

The best private schools are independent, selective, and belong to accrediting organizations such as NAIS. Your voucher doesn’t mean your kid is getting into a decent private school- & ‘cuz the school says it’s private, doesn’t mean your kid will get a better education than the local public school.
