I’ve just been surprised at how poor the communication has been lately. Between their continual fumbling of the Epstein matter and now this, it just seems like they go out of their way to make a bad situation worse.

No, most of them don’t. On the other hand, I only do grocery pickup, not wandering around the store, so I’m only there 5 minutes or less.
What I don’t understand is why every gas station doesn’t throw up a solar panel, battery bank and a speed charger. You could charge $20-$30 per charge, the payback would probably be 6 months or less. Also risk mitigation for the future. Keep people used to stopping at “gas” stations.

I thought they were all into paper ballots? Mail in ballots are by definition paper, which can be retained and validated if there is any concern. I live in WA state, so I’ve never done in person voting. It just seems weird. Why have to go and stand in line?

My take, for what it’s worth, is that Trump is stuck in time. All his cultural references are of the 1980s. He lives in 1985, when Russia was a great power, the Russian mob was very influential in NYC, so he views Putin thru that lens. Scary, powerful and to him, worthy of admiration.
That would require Trump or any of his staff to have a modicum of knowledge of history, so unlikely. But it would be funny!

What’s weird is no one has pointed out any decision or action that Biden took that wasn’t well thought out and in the best interest of the US. He was perhaps over cautious in some situations, but I’ll take that over random crazy any day.

Even if you take the new swings at Biden's age as warranted, the obvious lesson is the quality and competency of the president's cabinet and staff matters, since clearly we were a lot better off by every measure under that "failing old man" than this one.
