If I as a foreign investor had a production plant in the US I would be moving it to outside the US. Trump is only going to get worse. This is not stability for producers. It’s evident the foreigners and investors are not welcome in the US. Canada or Mexico might be better options…just saying.
While I appreciate your objection I am concerned about coercion in relation to abortion. I respect a woman’s right to choose. I am frustrated that men do not acknowledge their accountability in unwanted pregnancy. Abortion is not a choice I would have made.
So I read up on the law and until the vote in June 2025 although under some circumstances under the 1967 act abortion was allowed it remained a criminal offence when obtained outside this law. It now isn’t a criminal offence. There are a multitude of reasons for voting against the bill.
Abortion is not criminal in the UK. It was made legal in 1967. When was there a vote to criminalise abortion? When did that come into effect? How can one vote against decriminalising abortion if it isn’t illegal?
