It’s refreshing to see Rolling Stone magazine expose the truth about Trump’s fake trade war with Canada. “Keeping a straight face has been perhaps the greatest achievement of Mark Carney’s brief tenure as the prime minister of Canada”. www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...

Southwest N.S. is a desert. We’ve only had 14mm of rain in July at our cottage near New Germany. Our vegetable garden is not happy! We can collect 1,000L of water from our rain barrels to water the garden, but not when it doesn’t rain.

The New Germany area has only had 13mm total and the last half of June was also dry. All the heavy showers in July seem to be moving along the Atlantic and Fundy coasts.

I have an idea to reduce the amount of smoke billowing from Canada into the U.S.: impose a 35% tariff on all smoke entering the U.S. from Canada. This will encourage forest fires to move to the U.S.

Meme coins are like Beanie Babies. Their only value is what people will pay for them. How would people be reacting if Trump sold an orange Trump Beanie Baby and rewarded the people who paid the highest price for them with a black-tie dinner?

The most disappointing result from this poll is that more Canadian Conservatives (24%) have a favourable opinion of President Trump than of Prime Minister Mark Carney (13%). Sadly, that’s what’s wrong with the Conservative movement in Canada and why they will likely lose on Monday.

Freeland is being nice for TV. When your closest neighbour and friend for over a century suddenly becomes a bully, a liar, rips you off, threatens you, and says they never even liked you anyway and don’t ever want to be your friend again, we feel much more than antagonized…we feel betrayed. 🇨🇦 🍁
