I am a great fan of the original cinema version - it gets Heart of Darkness perfectly in a SE Asia War setting. I can't get hold of it any more, I can only find director's cuts, redux, etc. etc. and they load the film with stuff that should have stayed on the cutting room floor.

I stand corrected. They have in fact repealed the Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Act 2023. Apparently only because it wasn't effective. Nevertheless I have never experienced a more dystopian Britain. It will get worse; barring a kick up our collective psyche we will have a Reform govt. in 2029.
