After many attempts with covers we now leave the back seats down and have a grill behind the front seats . Seat belts can attach to that or a couple of other points in the back when required .

Only the Dogtor would ever be allowed to drive. Usually the two littles share the middle seat and she sits in the foot well and husband an I sit one each side :)
She did however sleep next to me again. I slept well and find it really reassuring her snuggling into me :)
The Dogtor has been refusing to leave me for the morning walk for a while but today she was happy to go - phew!

Although we very rarely take it out the dogs LOVE the lorry . They have seatbelts which they must wear as they are in the cab. It's a big lorry because while the ponies are tiny the carriage is large. Honestly I wish we got out more - I'd like to take the ponies to more fun places

🤣 it appears to be a UTI ! So doctors and I were wrong to jump to stroke! I didn't know uti's good paralyse one. But mentally - which I did know about- she seems ok tbh. She was holding court well . I had to keep asking her not to talk to Dogtor though .
Went to see my mother in hospital and was almost hospitalised myself :( The trek has done me in .

Do you have a source of respite care ? It could be that 72 hours might give you both a respite if it can be covered by other family members.

In the night the Dogtor joined me in bed. While this is not a task it seems to do a great job of prewarning me as husband my health markets will be out of whack in the morning . Later today we hope to visit my mother in hospital which Dogtor will enjoy.

Lovely caller rachael did a reasonable job and sexist Ferrari defended ICE raids and called her alarmist - akin to hysterical. He says ice raids impact no one but the illegal. So- even if right- we know he has no empathy . I cannot imagine being unaffected by seeing others treated like this.

My husband is not supportive of me protesting in London on the -17th because the Dogtor and I would have to attend alone . There is a lot that could go wrong ( power chair battery is always my biggest concern) but I feel it's so important to show solidarity to real Americans. :(
Pubs are where we most often take visitors who come for a drive. I prefer drives that include purpose - it feels more real - and atm pubs work as the girls are not quite fit enough to pop into town easily for groceries etc- and I probably am not strong enough. Few miles to the pub? Easy !
