I drive from SoCal up through California's central valley on a regular basis for work. Like 2-3 times a month or more. Hundreds of miles, on freeways and back roads. This year, I've noticed that a LOT of fields are fallow. Plowed and not planted. Lots of grape vines either dying or cut down.
