WHAT? They don't know the Scarlet Pimpernel? That's one of my favorite books! I must frown at them disapprovingly when I watch this episode 😤 I suppose they haven't heard of the Scarlet Pumpernickel either! 🤪
I think the most interesting book I read this year was "Sodomy and the pirate tradition : English sea rovers in the seventeenth-century Caribbean" by B.R. Burg. Lots of info about the time period and English culture as well as pirate life. Very neat book! 🏴☠️

One of my nieces calls me every day when she gets off work to chat while she drives home. I just dropped my phone behind the bed and can't get to it 'cause the husband is sleeping on said bed. Luckily I could text her from the computer to let her know that I can't chat today due to my clumsiness lol
