I’m white. I do a lot of house & pet sitting, and have clients of all races. Me on phone w/Mom today: “you always used spices, but I’m learning that stereotype about white people is true. The number of white clients who ONLY HAVE SALT & PEPPER is ridiculous.” SPICES ARE GOOD, people. Try them!

I don't think most of us really understand the amount of courage it takes for victims to speak out against powerful men potentially the POTUS. This is about the victims having the platform to tell their story. This is not about Trump.

FEMA employees were just placed on leave after criticizing the Trump regime in open letter. Their letter was meant to "sound the alarm" about inexperienced appointees and drastic cuts to agency programs. Like all tyrants in history, Trump wants to squelch dissent.
Fair point. I know for the original vax, I was allowed to get it early, because I’m in close contact w/a few extremely high risk people at work. Those people had to write letters that I had to take and get approved. It was a whole deal. I am hoping it doesn’t come to that again.

If you have friends & family in DC, check in on them. When the military + local police presence + curfew hit its zenith in DTLA, I got so down.. Familiar spaces & walks were not the same, & at times it felt like my home was not my own. Community, both near & far, is really important right now.
