Soylent, comes in a variety of forms, check their website. My favorite is the chocolate complete protein. It was also a winner with young, very picky eaters and not too sweet. Best cold. Also a great plant based protein source as I have alpha-gal syndrome.

As a woman watching the video of that "arrest". It terrifies me every time. I see myself walking down the street, suddenly surrounded by masked people in regular clothes & no other identification, grabbing my phone. A mugging or kidnapping maybe, previously I would not have thought it was my govt!

Seems to me the Dems are failing at the messaging (again)! "GOP have failed to put together a budget that will receive enough votes to keep the government open". NOT that Dems are in a pickle about whether to shut down the government.
Dems should take this opportunity to announce an opposition shadow government.Ranking members from both houses to be Shadow Secretaries for the positions. Dems should announce what their opposition bills would be for every GOP bill & budget put forward. Let us know what you would do instead.

I reviewed many of the senators' question times & I think the women Dem Senators asked excellent questions. Hegseth didn't answer most of them & misogynisticly talked over them more than he did any of the males. GOP has already decided, but they won't own the consequences, they never do.

I agree & recently discovered that my school district has $300k school meal debt. The Dev follows the student & is expected to be paid before the graduate high school. I am trying to figure out ways to work with the community to alleviate the debt for all students.

As an elder I understand there is a time to step back and let people experience the consequences of their choices. It breaks my heart to think that may be the only way this country will change direction. Too many will die, too many are dying.
