Obamacare was a compromise. That is the only way to get a higher minimum wage, single payer healthcare, green energy. Baby steps. Calling out anyone to the right of Bernie accomplishes nothing.
You need votes to win. Sticking to the progressive agenda will get you exactly where Bernie is: introduce a bill, never gets out of committee, rinse and repeat. You have to figure out how to CONVINCE others to vote with you. Obamacare was a long way from perfect but a step in the right direction.

Yes the minimum wage should be raised. But $17 an hour is very different in Manhattan from rural America. Your battle cry of $17 an hour turns many Mid-American employers off your message. Minimum wage tiered to cost of living. Exceptions for probationary employees and high school students.

So it's not all on lack of health insurance. You can't simply say x=y when it's x+z+a+b=y. And again. It may be a Repub talking point, but healthcare rationing is a real concern and laying out a system where that would not be the case is central to getting acceptance in this country.
You need to look further into the weeds to understand this. The US has a way lower vaccination rate, b/c of vaccine hesitancy, and a lower health screening rate which is partially due to mistrust of the healthcare system (although to be fair some is due to no health insurance)
Have heard the argument that countries with Universal Healthcare emphasize palliative end of life care because 80% of health cost are in the last 3 months of life. But in most cases, we have no idea where those 3 months begin. So we need to clearly delineate where that is.
