THIS. AOC needs to unseat Schumer. Beshear (KY Gov) needs to run for Senate. Too many eyeing the top spot when we need them in supporting roles.

I agree. While I think AOC will be an amazing president, I don’t think next cycle is the right time. As much as I want a female president, I think we unfortunately need to start with someone like Walz with a younger progressive female VP, and I think we need AOC in senate. Then AOC can run & win.

A lot of time between now and then. I want to see the alternatives and popularity before I make a decision, however, AOC may become more popular the more she talks.

Oh hell no. It’s time for the next generation. The veterans can share their war stories and wisdom gained from political knife-fights in the swamp, but we need a young firebrand that appeals to every generation of voters that value their voice in a democracy. And Bernie is right. Starting NOW.

I really wish most voters thought that way. But age is a major consideration in many voter’s minds. They believe both young age & female gender make someone incompetent. I wish we could have a young firebrand next cycle but I just realistically don’t see it happening. Hope I’m wrong.
