People were pretty down on #Pokemon Sword and Shield at the time, but I still think Opal is one of the best characters in the whole franchise. She's like a kid-friendly version of Kreia.
I just know from personal experience that some families do this because the alternative is their kids spending three hours or more a day on the bus, leaving before the sun rises and coming home after it sets. Although 70% parent drop-off is unusually high.
And how close does any student live to this school? I went to school in a rural-suburban NC district and it had a similar line every day because nobody lived within walking distance and the buses weren't remotely convenient for many people.
How long are the bus rides? How early would kids have to wake up for the bus? How late would they arrive home?

I looooove Doom Eternal and even I find the DLC kind of exhausting, though there's also some great stuff in it. The Dark Ages took a little to grow on me, but I think it's also great and less punishing, so hopefully the ramp up into its DLC will be smoother.
Darkest Dungeon in a bad way, Darkest Dungeon 2 in a good way. Kind of an interesting case study in that the second one definitely is a sequel but is significantly different from the original.
And then the DLC--moreso Part 1--went even further. I love Doom Eternal, but The Ancient Gods is *brutal*

My boyfriend loves Death Stranding and says that DS2 is "just fun" whereas, as much as he loved it, the first one was often "not fun." Don't know about that (haven't played them myself), but I will say they are completely batshit crazy and absolutely gorgeous looking on a nice TV.
