How long are the bus rides? How early would kids have to wake up for the bus? How late would they arrive home?

Im much more likely to blame American car culture sickness than the evil schools who aren't doing it the right way somehow

I just know from personal experience that some families do this because the alternative is their kids spending three hours or more a day on the bus, leaving before the sun rises and coming home after it sets. Although 70% parent drop-off is unusually high.

Lenoir City is an outer rim suburb of Knoxville that’s roughly 8.5 square miles with a population of about 12,000. These kids’ average bus ride is probably 20-30 minutes tops.

My daughter has to be at the bus stop at 634 am this year. It's something my family has to work with b/c she's bussed to the south side of our city( like 20 mins in a car w/o traffic) ,
