Your reminder that Glaze and Nightshade are free standalone apps you can use to protect art or 3d renders you post online from style mimicry. If you got a RTX 2060 or beefier, Glaze takes a couple minutes on a roughly 1-2k image. With Nightshade you're looking at least 30min

Yesterday we visited Green Mountain Falls, CO to visit the kinetic sculpture Off the Beaten Path by Patrick Shearn. I wasn’t ready for just how dynamic it was even in the slightest breeze. Reminds me of a murmuration of starlings. Incredible artwork. It’ll only be up through October 19th.

Yeah, unlike design or art where you can point to something and say “I did that”, production is the absence of a thing: crunch, blockers, etc. and it’s much harder to point to a blocker you removed and say “I did that” when the blocker doesn’t exist anymore to point to
I think one of the tricky things is that producers are expected to be team managers, where that implies managing the team morale as well, and we’re also not given good tools for how to handle that so we just don’t 😭
