A while back I wrote an article about the proximity of Beanie Baby corporate offices to strip clubs, speculating as to where they got the name. All of the offices I found had a strip club less than five miles away.

There is a bus driver shortage in many areas, but it's self inflicted in a lot of the cases I've seen. People don't want to pay the drivers, who need CDLs, what they're worth. People with CDLs are in HEAVY demand.

Right now there’s a lot of articles about how 2025 US total box office so far proves movies are in decline. It’s mostly bullshit. The real story of 2025 is original movies audiences want to see are doing individually far better than anyone expected, and studios seem to not know, or what people want…
Dan Seitz (@dseitz.bsky.social)
I know people need them, and there's no good way to talk about pee shields, but lately I have been seeing a lot of ads for men's pee shields that are just...weirdly off-putting? Like they're trying to destigmatize it, which is good, but going about it in the most annoying way possible.

I think my personal favorite Graham Greene moment was when he appeared in Last One Laughing Canada, which was literally him just walking on set in street clothes and going on a hilariously profane rant. Literally an entire room of comedians desperate not to break and he nearly ruins them all.

One of the many ways in which Graham Greene stood out was through his endless adaptability—he could easily transition from serious moments to lighter comic tones, not just within 1 film or a show, but within one *scene*. Honestly, it's weird anybody is still banging on about this, not least because... what was the alternative, exactly? A lot of parents would have been very upset at an attitude of "Who cares if some of your weiner kids die, we can't have parents blaming us for learning loss!"
