Ya, I saw it again recently: Bartlett pears advertised in No Frills' flyer for $1.99 as 'Product of Western Provinces' but the stickers read USA. The price sign said they were from Argentina. I mentioned it to someone stocking the produce and he said he'd alert the manager. I'll check on it today.

Sorry, but my first response was to giggle at the thought of them abstaining. So I did a quick search and it appears that sales are not back to where they used to be, as people are favouring Canadian products. But remember that AB has no government liquor stores--everything is privatized.
