I wrote about how Hurricane Katrina helped spur pretty remarkable improvements in hurricane forecasts since 20 years ago and how current and planned budget cuts by the Trump administration to research could set us back.
Thank you for this. It's very troubling to see how this administration is treating forecasting. We get it, they hate "climate change", but preparedness is a totally different story.
I went with friends to see The Two Towers and slept through it. No ragrets. I did go see it alone later and not hungover. It was fine.

You know at the end of a show the guitarist will sometimes just hand his guitar to the crowd? That was me. Gaz handed down his guitar to me at a Supergrass show.... they don't let you keep it. I made it halfway to the door before a roadie found me. I did get to meet the band though ๐ธ๐.
