🚀Moonlight Lunar Coms and Nav (LCNS) is now heading into preliminary design review, with the precursor SSTL Lunar Pathfinder launching in 2026 to demonstrate communication services and navigation technologies. The ambitious goal to stay connected on the Moon is one step closer to becoming a reality.
🤝Led by ESA in partnership with multiple European companies led by Telespazio, Moonlight is a true team effort. Together, we’re building an open, future-proof lunar network that supports space agencies and commercial users alike.
🔬Whether it’s streaming a rover video, tracking lunar ice, or navigating crater terrain, Moonlight will make high-speed data and precise positioning on the Moon possible. All from 400,000 km away.
