MAJOR #DeTransLaw news dropped quietly Friday! Not only did Judge Ervin deny Prisha Mosley's Motion to Reconsider reviving Med Mal claims, he also Granted Motion for Summary Judgment, Dismissing with Prejudice all claims against the Defendants. Barring an appeal, looks like this case is now over.

The downside with the Texas crutch is that it can soften the bark. But it's a worthwhile tradeoff when you're talking about 8 hours of cooking vs potentially 15 depending on the size of the cut of the meat.
Yeah, since this isn't BBQ, finishing it in the oven helps by increasing the humidity in the pan with the foil tent. The other method in the smoker is the Texas crutch where you wrap it in Butcher paper or foil. This reduces evaporative cooling to get the internal temp up to 200.

I think trans folks should fully exercise their 2nd amendment rights just as anyone else does to protect themselves. That said, I still fundamentally oppose the 2nd amendment and would support its repeal. It clearly does not prevent tyranny or authoritarianism.
