To be fair, it took me a while as a teen to understand the concept of the Sailor Stars. The German dub didn't censor that. But once I'd accepted it in my head I just shrugged and enjoyed the show. 😅
In contrast, the German dub didn't bother censoring that any longer. Too much hassle I suppose. In the first season they gave one of the villains a female dub to make the relationship with another villain appear heterosexual. 🫠
