For that reason I'm so glad we have fanfiction that repeatedly fix everything. That's the only way I still engage with Star Wars content.

This part. Honestly sometimes I'm glad the TROS is what it is because I've loved to see how the fandom worked to heal itself. I think of all the people who now have careers because of it. It's been 5 years but we are still creating. There is something beautiful about that.

Yessss this is very much its redeeming quality. Like the dung which feeds the unstoppable mycelia and produces the most amazing mushrooms. We are what we are because it failed. You’re right. It is beautiful.
