The irony is that with the constant shuffling of personnel between them, there is a good case to be made that the Conservatives and Reform Ltd are the uniparty.

While I agree that some of their policies are bizarre, we shouldn't forget that the weekly scandals, splits and resignations of the last government have largely disappeared.

Iām a realist. If you think that a Reform Ltd government would be better for resident doctors than go ahead and undermine Labour to your heartās content.
The only reason they want to rebalance to 2008 is that they had enjoyed several years of real terms increases under [checks notes] a Labour government.

14 years of Tory cuts cannot be reversed in a year. If resident doctors havenāt had their pay restored by 2032 Iāll be with them on the barricades. But itās naive to expect everything to be put right in year one.
They need to understand that most of the workforce is also earning less in real terms than in 2008.

Well Iām well informed rather than having any particular expertise, but it seems to me as if Netanyahu made a huge miscalculation in not limiting himself to a proportionate response to the October 7th outrage. It appears that Hamas gave him the excuse that he was looking for. Maybe they knew that.
It seems that the situation in Gaza is so bad that some countries which would have been reticent have been pushed over the line. Anti Israel sentiment appears to be growing even in the USA which is basically unprecedented.
It could be either or both but itās a step in the right direction.
The idea is to coordinate with France and hopefully others at the UN. This isnāt the moment for grandstanding.
The question isnāt whether itās technically possible. Itās about what happens when they have to convert a āprivateā AF1 at the same time as the legit ones.
The AF1 refresh is a multi year long project. I can't imagine that they would have any of that bespoke tech just on the shelf for a potential third plane.

There is also an acute shortage of people who are qualified to do the work and have the appropriate security clearances so they can effectively name their price. The only way that work on this aircraft can happen at all is if work on the other two aircraft is paused.
Because it will have all kinds of extremely expensive and extremely classified tech on board in order to keep the President safe. As there are already two new AF1s in preparation this will have to be sourced and the aircraft will need to be stripped back to bare metal for it to be installed.

Starmer has been a disappointment but the alternative is Farage. Itās one or the other.
Here in the UK we currently have First Past the Post. Corbyn has spent his life trying to ensure that we have a Conservative government by continually trying to split the left wing vote. Now heās working on behalf of Farage.
Farage is likely to get in by default thanks to Corbyn's efforts.

I disagree. What youāll find is that AVs will have to drive like little old ladies until such time as there are no human drivers. I happen to think that we are decades away from widespread AV adoption
People donāt expect computers to make mistakes and so I would suggest that no deaths caused by AVs would be acceptable.

Given whatās happened I think they can wave goodbye to being reelected because they deserve it. The best they can hope for now is being reelected because they are not Farage.
The article confuses lithium ion and LFP. LFP is used because it is much more chemically stable and a much lower risk of thermal runaway. The idea that batteries have to be replaced every few years is also just plain wrong. Every 20 years perhaps.

Yes if it wins the next election it will be a stroke of genius. I donāt agree with any of it, but right now Labour is the least worst option.
