It seems to me that Musk is now in a no win situation. If he crawls back to Trump is reputation will never recover. If he starts attacking Trump his companies will get destroyed. The only chance he has got is to completely withdraw from public life and hope everyone forgets.

Musk has lived most of his life now with zero constraints or consequences due to his wealth. He's learning that hard power trumps a pile of money. Not sure if that is a good thing or not.
