Mayor Bowser, "shared priorities" with this administration means having masked agents disappear our neighbors in the middle of the night. It means soldiers with assault rifles in our neighborhoods. It means arresting children. These are the priorities of a dictator. DC does not share them.

During the Biden admin, the Office of Workers' Compensation Programs at DOL streamlined the claims process for federal firefighters who get sick. But that office lost well over 100 employees due to the fork & the threat of mass layoffs. It's hard to process claims quickly without sufficient staff.
We are suing to block the federal government takeover of DC police. By illegally declaring a takeover of MPD, the Administration is abusing its temporary, limited authority under the law. This is the gravest threat to Home Rule DC has ever faced, and we are fighting to stop it.

The group Save U.S. Diplomacy held a rally at the #StateDepartment today to decry Secretary Rubio's planned firings of thousands of experts. "They're ceding strategic power and security interests to China, Russia & Iran while making our government operate more like theirs" said one State employee.
