The Department of Labor has already lost over 20% of its workforce due to the Trump administration’s cuts and attacks. Now, the President is targeting the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), a nonpartisan agency that provides vital economic data to businesses and the public. With the budget deadline coming up and a partisan nominee threatening BLS’s independence, the integrity of labor data and the future of the Department of Labor (DOL) itself are on the line. Join the Stop DOL Cuts coalition and stakeholders the week of Labor Day as we rally to protect workers, defend DOL, and safeguard the independence of BLS.
