I’d still take games like this with a 3 year dev cycle vs what we have now 7 year dev cycles and the game gets cancelled anyway. I still play the new side scrolling Mario games 40 years later, I guess it just doesn’t get old for me.
I think it was rough at launch if I recall, many patches later it was good but people had a sour taste in their mouths. I enjoyed it but played it years later. Which is why I’m so disinterested in this remake I feel like I already beat this recently.
Moonlight is crazy good. I just hate when it goofs up on some games and then you have to manually walk over to your PC and reset it to get it going again. When possible I still just play whatever I can locally but streaming is still great.
I wish studios would just go back to making simpler games, with a limited scope and 2 to 3 year dev times. The Wolverine game we got on PS3/360 back in the day was perfectly enjoyable. Something akin to that is fine by me.
I dunno, should I be offended by it? I've grown up sucking down glorifications of the US "old west" my whole life and sometimes I enjoy it sometimes it sucks like anything else. Regardless of any of it I'm aware it's all fiction in the end.

As a lifelong gamer I’ve never seen console prices rise years after release. They always go down. If this isn’t a wake up call to those not attuned to the news, I dunno what is.

Gaza was low on the list of voter priorities sadly, she lost some votes over it sure, but she lost the election over the economy/inflation mostly, and secondly not being an exciting candidate what so ever. People stayed home instead of voting, they just didn’t care, her message didn’t resonate.

If you want to do more than just play games then yeah don’t buy a game system. Obviously…but yeah PC parts are going up a lot too. Price to performance consoles are still a better buy if you just want gaming. Unless you want to avoid the online yearly cost.
It doesn't even run well on the best PC handhelds that are over $1,000. No way Switch 2 runs it unless they overhaul the heck out of it.
I dunno about the new Kirby Air Riders. I still vividly remember the GameCube one. Getting it on Xmas, playing it that day and seemingly doing everything the game had to offer in a few hours and being like that’s it? Might pass on this which I almost never do for a Nintendo game.

Well as long as candidate 3 beats 2 in the primary and 2 doesn’t show up as an independent then we are fine. Otherwise there could be vote siphoning if all 3 are there. It’s just math…and dumb people who vote….

Finally got around to finish watching season 2 of Arcane. It was fantastic. Loved it. Also loved how the heroes used save states to win lmao. Cheaters!! But seriously I love save states.
Been getting back into the Trails of games. I’m on Trails of Cold Steel 2 and very much enjoying it. I’m glad I stuck with the series after not really liking Trails in the Sky 1 but liking the follow up more. Just feels like the story goes nowhere sometimes but so much fun to play anyway.
Game of the year for me and it’s not close.
You must have gotten a dud or something. Mine works great. For SNES you do have to change the default core though or it runs sluggish. Otherwise everything else is fine up to PS1.
This is a reworked version with a custom chip that makes it a really good version of Doom, and the best version on the SNES, and likely better than Jaguar and others of that time. That said....I have zero interest in it since I can play better versions of Doom on PC and Quest 3 VR.

I liked it more than Eternal. I dunno all the puzzle jumps, and frantically having to swap around using fire, punching, weapons running out of ammo, etc drove me nuts. It was more of a resource management simulator than Doom.
