And when we got home the house was suspiciously tidy… the boy had had a dozen of the rugby lads round for drinks and pizza but thankfully they cleared up after themselves!
On Sunday my church’s choir sang two services in Hereford Cathedral, always a wonderful place to sing. We were lucky enough to see the cloister gardens which are very pretty.
A busy few days. Saturday we went running as usual then we went to Hereford, visited real shops and had a lovely evening meal before a night in the Green Dragon Hotel.

Of course. I never did facebook until I had to for park run as it’s our main way of communicating with volunteers so I don’t think of it in that way. He won’t be the only one finding today difficult, I remember a friend struggling to get her boy into school and how hard it was

Well done. We have a wood fired Rayburn which powers our central heating but it’s a lot of work. Lovely for cooking though.

Haven’t been for a very long time… no real desire to either
I do like gardening but I’m not keen on lawn mowing and the boy usually does it for me. I have a replacement day off on Thursday but I wanted it done while it was dry!
We had ours done last autumn and it really does make such a difference. I don’t think we needed the winter duvet!
It rained really heavily but was then dry and windy the rest of the day so I could mow the lawn. And I had to work on my day off 😔
It’s my boy’s last year at school this year. Next year maybe uni, who knows 🤷♀️

I had tinned mackerel on toast. D is veggie and so I eat one of my weekly fish portions this way when I’m having lunch alone.

I don’t want to go into the office for an extra day so I’ve swapped my day off again. A little more notice would’ve been helpful
Hopefully they’ll be gone soon. I have had to rearrange my rearranged week to take my day off on Thursday when national grid are planning to turn the power off 🤦♀️

It’s just the labelling we have to put on post Brexit. Been on dairy for ages but gradually rolling out across other foods. The default is that everything says “not for EU” except the product that has all the export paperwork for NI / Eire. Bet you’re glad you asked now

The thing I learnt was that it might not be you, but your work persona. So eg if you are doing lots of analysis you may score more strongly on blue than you expect
